I have asked bodymen that question myself. Seems like that is one of those one-off manufacturer deeds. Sanding will leave the valleys intact and flatten the mounds. That will look like someone did just that if repainted. Scuffing with a pad has been suggested, but even if you were able to uniformly abrade the surface (which I doubt you will), what are you going to do about any scratches or gouges that need to be filled and feathered? A new unpainted nose is a solution (if you want the pimples) or as many on this forum do, sanding down all the pimples and resurfacing that way.
Sorry but there is no solution.
Paint remover might dissolve the plastic as well as sooth out the pimples.
